Knoxville, TN (8/4/07) -- Several top Wisconsin high school athletes competed at the AAU Junior Olympics (the last major meet of the summer):
On Saturday, Kaya Senaya (Brown Deer junior) finished 5th (12.05) and Jasmyn Hudgins (Bradley Tech sophomore) finished 7th (12.29) in the 100 meter dash finals. Senaya also placed 6th in the 200 meters (24.53). Keith Ingram (Milwaukee Riverside) ran 21.44 in the 200 finals to place 5th.
On Thursday, Keith Ingram ran 21.44 in the 200 semi-finals to advance to the finals. Centrell Minter (Milwaukee Vincent) ran 21.75 but failed to advance to the finals. For the girls, Kaya Senaya advanced out of the semi-finals of the young women's 200 meter dash with at time of 24.41. Jasmyn Hudgins ran 24.62 but failed to advance.
On Wednesday, Isiah Gray (Brown Deer) finished 8th in 400 meter intermediate hurdles finals with a time of 55.46. This time is off Isiah's PR of 53.53 set while winning the USATF Junior Nationals.

Keith Ingram ran 10.66 in the 100 semi-finals and Centrell Minter ran 10.90 but both failed to advance to the finals. For the girls, Kaya Senaya and Jasmyn Hudgins advanced out of the semi-finals of the young women's 100 meter dash. Kaya's time was 12.02 and Jasmyn ran 12.08. In the intermediate girls 100 semis, Ciara Jarrett (Milwaukee Marshall freshman) ran 12.36 but failed to qualify for the finals.
On Tuesday, Kaya Senaya and Jasmyn Hudgins advanced out of the prelims in the 200 meter dash. Kaya's time was 24.34 and Jasmyn ran 24.55. For the boys, Adam Hexum (Hayward) failed to qualify in the 110 high hurdles running 14.51. Marcus Jenkins of Milwaukee Bradley Tech (junior) won the national title in the long jump with a leap of 24-5. Keith Ingram (Milwaukee Riverside) ran 21.62 in the 200 prelims to move forward as did Centrell Minter (Milwaukee Vincent) who ran 21.82.
On Monday, Kaya Senaya (11.97) and Jasmyn Hudgins (12.15) both qualified out of the prelims in the 100 meter dash. For the boys, Isiah Gray advanced in 400 meter intermediate hurdles with a time of 54.45. Keith Ingram moved on as well in the 100 meter dash (10.72).
