On Friday, Arrowhead took third placed in the 1600 meter sprint medley relay. Joe McFarland anchored in a very fast 1:52.0 in the 800. The rest of the line-up included Trevor Greiber, Jake Vis and Wes Kavelaris who split 49.8 in the 400. Arrowhead's time was 3:27.61 - just 4 tenths outside of 1st and 5th best in the nation for the year.

Also on Friday WIAA D1 cross country champ, and 3200 meter run champ Matt Mroczynski (Pulaski senior) ran 9:10.83 in the two-mile. This converts to 9:07.64 for the 3200 meters - which is the fastest time run this season and the 17th fastest all-time.

Triple WIAA winner Paul Annear (Richland Center junior) also competed well in Greensboro. He placed sixth in the high jump with a jump of 6-9 and 19th in the triple jump with a jump of 45-4¼.
