The 95th WIAA State Cross Country Championships were held today in Wisconsin Rapids.

In boys competition, Madison La Follette won the D1 team title and Appleton North senior Elliot Krause won the individual title with a time of 15:37.4.

In D2 Port Washington won the team championship and Shorewood sophomore Kevin McCollow won the individual title in a time of 16:22.9. In D3 Aquinas won the team title and Gransburg senior Sean Kutz the individual gold medal with a time of 16:18.2.

For the girls, Arrowhead won the D1 team title and Kimberly senior Kelly Bogard won the individual title with a time of 14:41.1.

In D2, Lakeside Lutheran won the team title and New Glarus/Monticello senior Ashley Buetler won her third WIAA cross country individual title with the fastest girls time of the day - 14:11.3. In D3 Boscobel took home the team title and Pardeeville junior Samantha Bluske won the individual crown with a winning time of 15:15.4.
